Help Us Build Trauma-Informed Homes for Remote Combat Warriors

Veterans from drone, ISR, and intel communities are being left behind. Their trauma is invisible. Their homes are not built for healing. We are changing that, and we need your help.
Section 2 - The Problem
Traditional Housing Programs Ignore Mental Health
Veterans with amputations or mobility issues qualify for adaptive housing. But veterans with Complex PTSD, moral injury, or operational dissociation? They get nothing.Thousands of Remote Combat Warriors live in homes that worsen their symptoms:-Constant overstimulation-No decompression zones-Lack of control over light, noise, and sensory input-Night terrors, sleep fragmentation, hypervigilanceThis is not about comfort. This is about survival.
Section 3 - Our Solution
Trauma-Informed, Veteran-Led Home Modifications
Remote Warrior is launching the first initiative designed specifically for mental health recovery at home. We are starting with one home and building a blueprint for national change. Each transformation includes:Smart sleep systems (Tempur, Eight Sleep, blackout curtains)Vagal stimulation & grounding furniture (massage chairs, sensory zones)Smart lighting and environmental controlSafe spaces for regulation and recovery
“This is not luxury. This is trauma medicine by design.”
Section 4 - Phase I: Real World Prototype
We’re Starting with One Home and Building a Scalable Model
Our pilot installation is already underway for a combat veteran from the Remote Warrior community. This individual served in sustained remote combat operations and lives with Complex PTSD, dissociation, and chronic sleep disruption resulting from years of operational trauma. This first trauma-informed transformation will serve as the proof of concept for a national rollout. Every design choice, from smart sensory tools to decompression spaces, is being documented to ensure we create a replicable, scalable model that can be adapted to support countless veterans. This is where innovation meets lived experience. And this is only the beginning.
